Fair Trade Websites

July 13, 2009

To learn more about Fair Trade, a good place to start is the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand. A list of Fair Trade Workplaces, Schools and Faith Groups which have become Fair Trade certified in Dunedin and the rest of NZ and Australia to date can be found here. Information about how to become a Fair Trade Workplace, School and Faith Group can be found here.

The UK-based Fair Trade Foundation has a useful section on Fair Trade Towns. There is also an international website for Fair Trade Towns. A website supporting the Fair Trade London campaign can be found here. There is also a website promoting a campaign to make Wellington a Fair Trade City. Can Dunedin get there first? Other useful sites include Tradecraft (UK), Ten Thousand Villages (US and Canada), and Oxfam, which has related information from all over the world.

To learn about a New Zealand-based fair trade organisation, visit the Trade Aid website. For a local report on Fair Trade in Dunedin, visit the Sustainable Trade blog.
